What a heavenly place and a wonderful stay. Donna was a generous and thoughtful host and we were spoilt with the beautiful local produce she provided. The house is just so lovely and comfortable, we could have just hung-out there all day and Maleny is such a picturesque and quaint town with such a lot to see and do. i look forward to staying with Donna again and highly recommend a stay at this awesome house, just loved it!! Thanks Donna.

We loved the beautiful decor and bedrooms and very thoughtful environmentally friendly energy sources. From the leadlight windows, beautiful antiques, needlework art pieces, to the well equipped kitchen. The second fridge on the verandah was a very generous touch. We spent most of our time on the verandah as it was very comfortable and a nice sunny position. All in all a pleasant stay. Donna also provided me with a beautiful birthday cheesecake on arrival. Thank you so much.
You cannot go wrong staying at this wonderful wildlife holiday house in Maleny. It was in a perfect location for our family and despite us filling all the bedrooms there is lots of space and every facility (kitchen, TV and games entertainment, bbq, etc) that you could dream of! Coupled with a generous and warm host which was the icing on the cake. As promised this is a genuine Queenslander home with lots of care and thought that has gone into it. The larder and fridge were stocked up with lots of goodies, including a lovely surprise Maleny cheese hamper and wine. The location is very convenient for Maleny town (you can walk the Maleny Trail right from the doorstep), the Australia Zoo short drive, surrounded by wonderful nature, and if you are lucky enough you will even get to see platypus in the lake close by. We have been lucky to travel to many countries over the years but the attention to detail, generosity of the host and peaceful nature of this home is up there with the best.

We had a wonderful stay at Donna’s house! A girlfriend and I took or kids up for the school holidays and had the most amazing time. There is just so much to do and see close by. Donna was really helpful and suggested many activities for us to do with the children. We went on a tour to Maleny Diaries, Rainforest walks near the Glasshouse Mountains, strawberry picking at the strawberry farm and visited Australia Zoo which is about a 20min drive away from the home. The house was tidy, clean, comfortable and warm. Donna was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome by leaving some generous household and breakfast supplies. Would highly recommend.
The location of this venue is absolutely superb. We had the most amazing 3 days, uninterrupted peace being awoken in the mornings by a myriad of wild birds in the rainforest and put to bed by a thousand night creatures. A short walk to the Gardens falls and a swim in the pool beneath the falls, a choice of great coffee shops and eateries in Maleny. It really was a treat to stay in a house well equipped and a large amount of history plastered across the wall in artwork worth the travel…..
Thank you Donna for being such a fantastic and caring host.

Great house for a family in a lovely setting with a caring and generous host with excellent local knowledge. We had some great walks, swimming at Gardners Falls and platypus sightings. Very good for kids.
