Art Galleries of Maleny

There is a vast range of Galleries in Maleny due to the huge number of Artists that live in and around Maleny. There is an Art trail that guests and visitors can drive to the main centres and Galleries as well as each month visit the Artists in their own studios.

Art on Cairncross Gallery:

 Art on Cairncross: This is located at Cairncross Corner east of Maleny.  Maleny & Montville are the major towns in the region and are renowned as creative art centres with many well-known artists and crafts people residing in the vicinity. 
It has combined the two galleries of  its owners Jane Caraffi of Caraffi’s established in 1998 and Tony Gill of Tony Gill Galleries of Montville which was established in 1995. The gallery continues to be visited by art lovers from all over Australia and the world because of the calibre of fine art displayed including ceramics, glass and sculpture. Jane and Tony are celebrating this year their 22nd year in art galleries in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Art on Cairncross is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. 

Peace Of Green Gallery:

Peace of Green Gallery is a solid part of Maleny: Maleny is a Sunshine Coast Artists Collective Gallery owned, managed, operated and funded by its local member artists. Everyday a different artist is behind the counter waiting to provide insight into the original artworks created by the members. They include a wide range of mediums from hand blown glass to ceramics and mosaics, paintings, prints and silk art, woodwork, leather, jewellery and more. Open: 7 days a week in the main street of Maleny from 9.30am til 5pm.

David Linton Wood Gallery

David Lintons Gallery: In this Gallery you will discover exclusively, the work of acclaimed local furniture maker, David Linton, who has over 30 years experience in designing and creating beautiful, solid timber, fine quality furniture. The Gallery also features a varied selection of beautiful and unique, handcrafted timber creations, handmade jewellery, local artworks and sculptures. Most items are created by local artists, many of whom reside in Maleny or around the beautiful Blackall Range. Also featuring carefully selected, dressed and kiln-dried timber slabs, bookmatched boards, burls, turning blanks and guitar timbers. It has top qualities of any Art form with use of exquisite native Australian timbers in this magical Gallery in the beautiful hills of Maleny.

 

Ben Messina Photography Gallery: 

Ben Messina Gallery:  is the Gallery of the Award winning Artist of Ben Messina show casing his Landscapes of Australia and New Zealand. He has works in royalty and across the globe and in collections in 30 countries…the colours are breathtaking as is the scenery.

 

Forest Art Collection:

Forest Art Collective Gallery: is located at 20 Coral Street Maleny is an open community made up of local artists and craft persons. Our goal is to inspire community participation in arts by providing workshops, exhibitions and opportunity for community to showcase own works in the gallery as well as offering a relaxing, creative and welcoming space where everyone can share, learn and be inspired. We operate as a working gallery – our artists are working and you can watch and learn more about their media and techniques. Some artists provide informal tuition, others more structured workshops. Recently added to our gallery is a Printmaking Studio. We now have a large public-access printing press, available for use by local artists. Forest Art Collective holds monthly exhibitions in our Green Room – these are either solo exhibitions from members of our Collective or combined with other local artists or groups.

 

The Garden Gallery:

The Garden Gallery: The Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Maleny are havens for talented and notable artists. This wonderfully inspiring part of the world is home to many artistic people who spend their time creating and sharing their incredible work. The Garden, Maleny is thrilled to offer our beautiful Art Haus & Gallery space to amazing artists such as: Noel Mills, Rick Everingham, Diane Somers-Cook. There are regular drawing and painting classes onsite in the Art Haus & Gallery too, so make sure you regularly check our events calendar to see what’s coming up!

 Maleny Art Direct Gallery:

Maleny Art Direct : is a privately owned and operated by local residents of Maleny, Joanne Howard and Lindsay Muir.  Both are dedicated to sharing Maleny’s local artwork and artists with the greater community. ​Exhibitions, showings, previews , events and workshops are all run from this art space, right in the heart of Maleny.The aim is to showcase local artworks created by local artists within Maleny. Artworks on display have been carefully selected so they will bring joy to their buyers, appreciate in value, and are unique yet affordable. The selection of artists  currently exhibiting are – Lindsay Muir, Gary Myers, with other various guest artists to compliment – Heather Jones, David Bongiorno,  Janna Pamiejer, Barbara Nye, John Morrison, Jane Nicol, Laura Vecmane, Alice Spittle, Rachel Fentimen, Jane Banks and Brett Campbell.The opportunity is available for visiting artists to exhibit their artworks and the selection of these artists will change to compliment the time of year and what is happening locally.
 

Maleny Arts and Craft shop:
